In April 2020, our membership elected to move our home office to a new host institution, Tarleton State University. In Stephenville, the university has arranged for us to have a beautiful suite of offices. We've got space for the Secretary-Editor/Executive Director, the Office Manager, a reception area, and plenty of space for our artifacts, library, and records. In addition to the home office, we will be looking for opportunities to partner with organizations across the state by participating in events and/or being a source of sponsorship. If you're interested in visiting the home office for research or just a chat, let us know.
We are working on our annual publication and we are expanding outreach through our strategic planning. With the website, we can develop and share curriculum, host webinars and workshops, have fun events online, and share some special items in our "members-only" area. Not a member? Click "join" above and change all that!
Finally, but equally important, we NEED your help. If you are a member and have not already done so, please pay your 2022 dues. Your dues are an important source of operating revenue for the Society. You may pay online by clicking the "My Membership" button above. You'll have to first retrieve your username, and then get a new password, but once there, you can pay with a credit card and even set it up for automatic renewal, if you'd like. If you prefer to mail a check, you may send it to Box T-0295, Tarleton State University, Stephenville, TX 76402.
